The future of a nation depends upon the quality of education imparted to our children. We believe that it is the joint responsibility of the Government and citizens to improve school education, hence we have begun the process of transforming underprivileged schools by the active involvement of donors, non-government organizations, and corporate sectors through the “COMET – Adopt-A-School Programme”.
This program is an initiative to develop partnerships between schools, professionals, and organizations. The focus of the program is on identifying and solving problems that affect the quality of education and is grounded in the belief that government, corporates, and individuals can all play a pivotal role in accelerating student and school success.
The following strategy is considered in this programme:
“Adopt-a-school fosters a better sense of understanding of the community's school system, strengthens and improves school programs and curricula, and creates a sense of personal involvement and interaction between professionals, organizations, and schools.” Adopt-a-school program is a win-win for everyone. The benefits of adoption include:
We are seeking donation from both government and private organizations to adopt more schools. We also welcome individual contributions with tax deductible donations
Donation to adopt one school will be approximately 25K per year
For transparency, organization/donor can know from COMET website which school they have adopted. Even though we have identified schools in Uttarakhand, Bihar and Assam to execute this program, but we are open to adopt schools based on donor’s preference, if they have any
